The K-50M Submachine Gun is a submachine gun used by the Sapper class of the North Vietnamese faction.
Chambered in 7.62x25mm, the K-50M features 4, 35-round magazines and is capable of semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. It has a retractable stock, which can be used for faster ADS time, at the cost of having to aim without iron sights and a reduction to stability.
The K50-M was built by the North Vietnamese upon modifying the PPSh-41 and Type 50 weapons from the Soviet Union and China. It is shorter and lighter than the PPSh-41, retains the same rate of fire and stopping power but at the cost of lower accuracy and higher recoil. It has a pistol grip and also uses a retractable stock of the MAT-49 rather than the wooden stock of the PPSh-41, making it lighter and more compact.
